Hir na Me sa MOAP!

When I booked my 97 (yes, ninety seven) Pesos roundtrip airfare to Ozamis, the only thing that’s in my mind that time is MOAP or the Misamis Occidental Aquamarine Park.

I want to swim with the dolphins!

Finally a few weeks back, I had the rarest oppurtunity to visit MOAP and and finally, swim with the cuddly dolphins! I also got the chance to pose with a large sea turtle. =)

Check out my full blog post about my MOAP experience here

Hir Na Me sa vicente de Lara Park!

It’s my second time in Cagayan de Oro, but this is my first time to actually set foot in Vicente de Lara park. It was previously known as the Mc Arthur Park, named after the US General who landed in Cagayan de Oro after escaping from Corregidor.

The park, which looks like it has been newly revonated is located right in front of the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol.

The Park is a popular place among the locals. It has a well paved path for joggers.

Hir na Me sa Cotta Fort!

Visiting Ozamis City will never be complete without visiting the Cotta Fort. The Cotta Fort serves as the main shield of Ozamis during the artime era, and as the first line of defense to prevent the enemies from entering the Panguil Bay. Just like the Fort Pilar in Zamboanga, One side of the Cotta Fort has been converted into altar here an image of the Virgin mary as enshrined.

Hir na Me sa Gardens of Malasag!

The Gardens of Malasag in Cagayan de Oro City is a popular tourist destination. It is located on the slopes of Cugman Watershed which gives you a better view of the Macajalar Bay and the area near Bukidnon.

The Gardens of Malasag is owned and operated by the Philippine Tourism. It gives the visitors a glipse of the rich flora and ethno Filipino Heritage of the Northern Mindanao Region. From time to time, locals dressed in their traditional attires would go out and play local instruments in Malasag.

Hir na Me sa Cebu Provincial Capitol, bai!

Mga bai! Hir na me sa Cebu Provincial Capitol! I have been here several times. But usually, I go here every August to claim my Media ID for the annual celebration of the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo Festival of Festivals which is held in Mandaue City.

I always love the design of the Cebu Capitol. This is where the Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia holds office. It is also here where the Province’s Kilometer Zero is located.

Hir na Me sa Manila Ocean Park!

Last week I was in manila Ocean Park to attend the launch of the Emerging Business Destinations of the Philippines. This is not the first time that I have been to the Manila Ocean Park. I could have enjoyed the Oceanarium more, only if its not raining, as some parts of the park is partly open.

And the food at Makansutra is a must try too! I always love their Chicken Rice and Milo Dinosaur!

Hir na Me sa Nagtabon Beach!

I love Nagtabon Beach! It is an off the beaten track destinations only a few knows about it. Nagtabon’s sand is very light brown in color and has a very fine texture. There were a few cottages for those who want to enjoy the cool blue waters or those who simply love to bask in the sun.
